August 2017 - Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Batman Cowl

Inspired by the behind the scenes Feature released by Iron Head Studios in the creation of Batman's suit in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", I tasked myself to replicate the cowl in Zbrush.

This project was a challenging task for me, however It allowed me to familiarize myself with Zbrush's interface and allowed me to develop a workflow that suited me.

Low-High poly render of cowl. I had some geometry issues (visible between the "eyebrows" of the cowl), however the normal map transfer was successful.

Rendered in Maya with Mental Ray.
